LATICRETE® 125 Sound & Crack Adhesive is a premium, single-component adhesive mortar that combines tile adhesive, crack isolation, and sound reduction into one easy-to-use product. Designed for ceramic tile, porcelain tile, natural stone, and masonry veneer installations, it eliminates the need for separate sound-control or crack-isolation membranes, saving both time and labor. Simply add water to create a high-performance mortar that provides exceptional bond strength while reducing sound transmission and protecting finished surfaces from substrate movement.
Engineered with lightweight technology and reinforced with Kevlar® fibers, 125 Sound & Crack Adhesive delivers excellent workability and superior performance for residential and commercial flooring applications. It provides crack isolation for horizontal in-plane movement up to 1/8" (3 mm) and has been independently tested to ANSI A118.12 for crack isolation and ASTM E2179 and ASTM E492 for sound reduction. The lightweight 25 lb (11.4 kg) bag provides coverage comparable to a traditional 50 lb mortar.
