The Owens Corning® FOAMULAR® NGX™ C-200 Extruded Polystyrene (XPS) Rigid Insulation Board is a premium closed-cell rigid foam insulation designed to improve energy efficiency and moisture resistance in residential, commercial, and institutional construction. Manufactured using Owens Corning's advanced NGX™ technology, FOAMULAR® C-200 delivers a long-term thermal resistance of R-5 per inch while significantly reducing global warming potential compared to previous XPS formulations. The shiplap edge profile helps create tighter joints between boards, minimizing thermal bridging and improving the continuity of the insulation layer.
Each board measures 2" × 24" × 96", providing an approximate R-10 thermal resistance and covering 16 square feet per sheet. Each bundle contains 12 boards, providing a total coverage of 192 square feet. With a 20 psi compressive strength, FOAMULAR® NGX™ C-200 is ideal for foundation walls, basement walls, exterior continuous insulation, cavity walls, and under-slab applications. The closed-cell XPS construction provides excellent moisture resistance while maintaining long-term thermal performance.
