The most compact drill in DeWalt's 20V MAX lineup, and the one to reach for when you want 20V power without hauling around a 20V-sized tool. At 6.3 inches front to back, it fits between studs and inside cabinet boxes that a standard-length drill has to be angled into.
The DeWalt-built brushless motor puts out 340 UWO — enough to drive structural screws and bore holes in framing lumber without bogging down. A 1/2" ratcheting chuck grips bits securely under high-torque loads, and the variable-speed trigger gives you fine control when you're starting a hole on a finished surface or seating a fastener you don't want to overdrive.
Practical touches carry through the rest of the tool: an LED at the foot for dark cavities and mechanical rooms, a removable belt hook that goes on either side, and an ergonomic handle balanced so the tool doesn't nose down when you're holding it one-handed overhead.
Note: This is a bare tool. Battery and charger are sold separately — a sensible pick if you already run 20V MAX and have batteries on hand.
