Lock-On Mode for sustained runs, because holding a trigger for an hour is what wrecks your hand by Thursday.

You switch between them with a top-mounted electronic selector reachable with your operating hand. No setting the gun down, no second hand, no breaking rhythm on a ceiling.

The brushless motor keeps you on the wall longer per charge, and the wide speed range spans light- and heavy-gauge substrates without fighting the tool. An adjustable nosecone sets screw depth consistently so heads sit just below the paper — ready to mud, not torn through. A forward/reverse slider resists the accidental flips that plague paddle-switch designs.

Compact and light, with a wide upper grip flange giving your thumb and forefinger a real purchase. That matters most on hour six.

Two 2.0Ah batteries mean one charges while the other works, and both run every tool on the 20V MAX platform. For crews tracking inventory, the chip pocket accepts a Tool Connect DCE042 chip and reports through the Tool Connect Site Manager app (chip sold separately).
