DeWalt's shortest 20V MAX drill/driver, kitted and ready to work. At 5.88" of head length, the ATOMIC DCD794 reaches into places that normally mean stopping to fit a right-angle attachment — between joists, inside base cabinets, behind panel boxes and in mechanical rooms.
The trade normally made for that size is power, and this one doesn't make it. The brushless motor delivers 404 UWO and runs 0–450 RPM in low gear for controlled driving, 0–1650 RPM in high for fast boring. Fifteen clutch settings give you a repeatable torque limit, so a run of cabinet screws seats to consistent depth instead of stripping out or standing proud.
The 1/2" ratcheting chuck holds bits securely when an auger or hole saw grabs. An on-tool LED lights confined spaces, and at roughly 2.75 lbs with the battery in, it stays comfortable through overhead work.
The included DCB203 2.0Ah battery and DCB107 charger work across the entire 20V MAX platform, so the kit doubles as a foundation for whatever tool you add next.
