DeWalt's shortest 20V MAX drill/driver, and a real jump in power over the compact drills it replaces. At 6.38" of head length, it reaches into stud bays, cabinet boxes, and mechanical rooms that force longer drills into awkward angles — while putting out 404 UWO, enough to bore large-diameter holes and drive structural fasteners without bogging down.
The brushless motor runs a two-speed transmission at 0–450 RPM for high-torque driving and 0–1650 RPM for fast drilling, with 15 clutch settings for repeatable torque control. A variable-speed trigger and forward/reverse switch let you match speed to the material, so you can start a hole on a finished surface without the bit walking.
The 1/2" ratcheting chuck delivers strong bit retention under load, which matters when a hole saw grabs. An onboard LED lights the work area, and a belt hook is included.
Note: This is a bare tool. Battery and charger sold separately — the practical choice if you're already running 20V MAX packs.
