DeWalt's most powerful 20V MAX two-speed drill/driver, matched with the batteries built to feed it.
The ANTI-ROTATION System is what sets this tool apart from everything below it in the line. When a bit binds — an auger catching a knot, a hole saw grabbing in a stud — the drill senses the excessive rotational motion and shuts down before it can twist your wrist. A red LED lights when it engages. Anyone who's had a large bit catch on a ladder or overhead knows that's worth more than another few percent of torque.
The power is there regardless. A high-speed transmission with variable-speed trigger runs 0–650 RPM in low for controlled heavy fastening and 0–2000 RPM in high for fast boring through wood and metal. The 1/2" metal ratcheting chuck holds bits secure under loads that would slip a polymer chuck.
Both included DCB2104 POWERPACK 4Ah batteries are DeWalt's higher-output pack design — more power delivery and cooler running under sustained load than standard cells of similar capacity. Two of them means one charges while the other works, with enough capacity that swaps are rare.
The adjustable three-position LED puts 70 lumens where you aim it, and the tool is Tool Connect Chip Ready for crews tracking inventory through the DeWalt Site Manager app (chip sold separately).
