The attachment clips on and off the screwgun with a release button — no tools — so you can pull it for cutouts and patch work and put it back for the next run. It rotates a full 360° on the gun, letting you set the magazine wherever it's out of your way regardless of whether you're doing ceilings, walls, or working off a bench.

Corner access is where this version improves on the DCF6201 it replaces. The slim nose and removable shoe get you tight into inside corners where the older magazine fought you.

Screw length adjusts tool-free with detent marks so you can see the setting at a glance instead of guessing, and a separate fine-depth control dials in exactly how far the head sets below the paper — deep enough to mud, not so deep you tear through. A collated strip guide routes the spent strip away from your hand.

Drywall dust is the enemy of any collated magazine, and this one is built for it: the spring removes without tools and the magazine opens up for a quick blow-out at the end of the day.
