An air drill for shops already running a compressor, supplied in DeWalt's retail display packaging for counter and showroom merchandising.
No cord, no battery, no motor to burn out — just 2,100 RPM as long as the line is charged. At 2.6 lbs it's lighter than any corded drill DeWalt makes, because there's no electric motor inside. That's the pneumatic trade: less portability, but a tool that's lighter, simpler, and effectively unburnable. Stall it all day and nothing cooks, which matters in production and assembly work where an electric drill eventually gives up.
The quick-change keyless chuck takes bits one-handed with no key to lose. A variable-speed trigger gives control off the line rather than all-or-nothing, and the forward/reverse switch sits where you can reach it one-handed to back a bit out without shifting grip.
Shock-resistant housing bumpers protect the tool when it's dropped or set down hard — on a shop floor, a matter of when rather than if. Exhaust vents through the handle, directing air away from the work instead of blowing chips back at you.
Air requirements: 90 PSI max, 1/4" NPT (F) inlet, 3/8" recommended hose, 4.3 CFM average consumption at load. Check your compressor rating — a small pancake unit won't sustain continuous drilling.
Packaging note: Supplied in Try Me retail display packaging suitable for peg-wall or counter merchandising. Tool and contents identical to the standard pack.
