The Plasti-Fab PlastiSpan® Type 1 EPS Insulation Board is a lightweight, closed-cell expanded polystyrene (EPS) rigid insulation board designed to provide long-lasting thermal performance for residential, commercial, and institutional construction. Manufactured from Type 1 EPS, PlastiSpan® delivers a stable R-value of 3.75 per inch, helping improve energy efficiency while reducing thermal bridging in walls, roofs, foundations, and below-grade applications. Its closed-cell structure offers dependable moisture resistance and dimensional stability for reliable long-term performance.
Each board measures 6" × 24" × 96", covering 16 square feet per sheet. With a nominal thermal resistance of R-22.5, these boards are ideal for projects requiring high levels of continuous insulation. Each bundle contains 48 boards, providing a total coverage of 768 square feet. PlastiSpan® insulation meets CAN/ULC-S701.1 Type 1 requirements and is suitable for a wide range of above- and below-grade applications.
