The Plasti-Fab PlastiSpan® Type 1 EPS Insulation Board is a lightweight, closed-cell expanded polystyrene (EPS) rigid insulation board designed to provide dependable long-term thermal performance for residential, commercial, and institutional construction. Manufactured from Type 1 EPS, PlastiSpan® delivers a stable R-value of 3.75 per inch, helping reduce thermal bridging while improving the energy efficiency of walls, roofs, foundations, and below-grade applications. Its closed-cell structure provides excellent dimensional stability and moisture resistance for reliable performance throughout the life of the building.

Each board measures 6" × 36" × 96", covering 24 square feet per sheet. With a nominal thermal resistance of R-22.5, these boards are ideal for projects requiring high levels of continuous insulation. Each bundle contains 32 boards, providing a total coverage of 768 square feet. PlastiSpan® insulation meets CAN/ULC-S701.1 Type 1 requirements and is suitable for a variety of above- and below-grade building envelope applications.
