The ROCKWOOL Cavityrock® Stone Wool Continuous Insulation Board is a premium rigid mineral wool insulation designed for ventilated rainscreen systems, cavity walls, and continuous exterior insulation applications. Manufactured from natural volcanic stone and recycled materials, Cavityrock® delivers outstanding thermal performance, exceptional fire resistance, moisture repellency, and long-term dimensional stability. Each board measures 2" × 24" × 48" and provides a nominal R-value of 8.4. Each package contains 8 boards, covering 64 square feet, with 12 packages per pallet for a total pallet coverage of 768 square feet. Designed to be water repellent while remaining vapor permeable, Cavityrock® helps manage moisture within the wall assembly while maintaining excellent thermal performance. As a non-combustible insulation, it can withstand temperatures exceeding 2,150°F (1,177°C), making it an ideal choice for residential, commercial, institutional, and multi-family construction projects.
